is a great place for garden lovers throughout the seasons.
In Spring follow the trails of snowdrops, bluebells and wild
garlic. In Summer the
countryside explodes with colour. Only
15 miles away are the world famous Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens where
the camellias and rhododendrons are well worth a visit in Spring, and
the Autumn colours are truly spectacular.
While at Abbotsbury, visit the Swannery nearby. Forde Abbey with its beautiful gardens is only 12 miles away.
West Dorset enjoys a micro-climate which is in general 4 degrees
warmer than East Dorset. We
will be delighted to provide cuttings from our garden for our guests to
take home.
